PROJECT47
A PROJECT THROUGH ANOREXIA

IT'S RELIANT ON THE PATIENT, IT'S SUFFERED BY THE PATIENT BUT IS EASIER IF OTHERS UNDERSTAND IT

Nobody decides to go ill.

It has been a long, exhausting and extremely hard road, it still is. I don't know if it's right to say that anorexia ends at some point for girls like us, girls who become overwhelmed, desperate, and exhausted by the constant struggle that eating to survive entails.

Maybe the word 'end' is not the correct word but the word 'overcome' is. This project is about winning, fighting to win against yourself, the part of you that didn't exist before and that won't go away now. My fight is based on what I've learned, what I've experienced and how I've felt. I hope that this project helps girls who suffer from the disease in silence so that they see it does go away, it can be overcome.
